AvKids Day New AvKids Book Teaches Children About Aviation
Authored by Cassandra J. Bosco and Robert A. Searles, and illustrated by Mike Perry, The Flying Office is designed to teach elementary-school children about business aviation, the uses of business aircraft and aviation careers.

Colorful illustrations and photos show a range of business aviation scenes, which accompany engaging stories about how aviation helps businesses and everyday people. The book also includes an introduction to the forces of flight and the parts of an airplane, as well as a glossary of aviation terms.

A Day of Family Aviation Fun

We will have a patriotic and emotional opening ceremony followed by aerobatic aircraft performances, radio controlled aircraft demonstrations, static displays of unusual, antique and military aircraft.

Our entertainment will include aerobatic performers, parachutists, VIP flights, static displays of interesting aircraft, face painting, and other educational opportunities for all of Victor Valley’s youth and church groups.

Each person entering our Airshow will be personally greeted and informed about Airshow details by The County of San Bernardino, The Town and Chamber of Commerce of Apple Valley, and other Cities and Chambers from San Bernardino County.

 

Mission Statement

  • Effectively and efficiently manage and grow this 501(C) 6 non-profit all volunteer organization.
  • Produce a free Airshow for the youth of The San Bernardino County all day Saturday September 27th.
  • Ensure that all donations are dedicated strictly to the direct costs of our airshows and educational programs.
  • Find and encourage educational organizations to present themselves to our guests.
    Offer the most exciting aviation entertainment with spectacular fly-bys, static displays and aerobatic acts.
  • Find and encourage car, motorcycle and similar clubs to display their vehicles or projects for our guests.
  • Be open to and encourage other entertainment opportunities that will enhance our Mission Statement.
